In addition, this data enables us to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our IT systems (e.g., detection of attacks). The legal basis for the collection of this data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is the provision of our website. The aforementioned personal data is deleted after you have finished using the website.

3.1 Description and Scope of Data Processing

You can contact us via the email addresses provided. In this case, we process the personal data transmitted with your contact request.

3.2 Purposes of Data Processing, Legal Basis, and Duration of Storage

The processing of personal data serves solely the purpose of handling your contact request and communicating with you. The legal basis for the collection of this data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is the communication of our company with you in response to your request. The personal data you have sent us by email will be deleted after your request has been fully processed, unless another legal basis for processing exists.

4. Newsletter

4.1 Description and Scope of Data Processing

If you subscribe to our newsletter in the future via the newsletter registration form on our website, we may contact you using the personal data provided therein. In this case, we process the data you enter in the newsletter registration form. Providing your email address is only required for receiving the newsletter.

4.2 Purposes of Data Processing, Legal Basis, and Duration of Storage

The processing of personal data serves exclusively the purpose of providing and sending our newsletter. The legal basis for the collection of this data is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link included in each email. The aforementioned personal data will be deleted after revocation of your consent.

5. Recipients of Data

For the provision of our website, we use a service provider (Hostinger International Ltd., Lithuania) which, in the course of providing its services, has access to your IP address and potentially further browser data. For the provision and sending of our newsletter, we use a service provider in Germany which has access to your personal data that you provide to us as part of your newsletter subscription. You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide us with your personal data for the above-mentioned processing purposes. Without your personal data, we are unable to provide you with our website and its functions or our newsletter.

6. Your Rights as a User of Our Website

If your personal data is processed, you are a “data subject” within the meaning of the GDPR. You have the following rights vis-à-vis us, provided the requirements of the rights mentioned below are met.

You have the right to information about the personal data we have stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), and to restriction of processing of your personal data (Art. 18 GDPR). You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. Unless we are legally obliged or entitled to continue processing your personal data, we will no longer process your personal data (Art. 21(1) GDPR). If you object to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes (Art. 21(2) GDPR).

6.3 Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority at any time if you believe that any processing carried out by us violates data protection law, Art. 77 GDPR.
